Description
Our client in South Metro is looking for a Collections Specialist to assist with a system automation and helping with aging reports clean-up. This a long-term contract position that is remote and will extend through the end of the year. Please only apply if you are a local, Minnesota candidate. Pay rate will depend on the level of experience!
Contacting customers who owe money to the company and negotiating acceptable payment plans.
Recording and updating customer account information in the company's database.
Implementing effective recovery strategies and tactics.
Monitoring and managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts to ensure compliance with the company's policy and applicable laws.
Reviewing and monitoring assigned accounts, identifying outstanding debts, and taking necessary actions to recover them.
Providing regular updates and reports on collection activities and account receivables.
Solving disputes, offering alternative payment plans, and dealing with bankruptcy scenarios.
Maintaining a professional and customer-friendly approach at all times to ensure the preservation of the company's image and customer relationships.
Working with the legal department in preparing and filing necessary documentation.
Keeping current with industry regulations and trends.
