Robert Half Financial Analyst in Menlo Park, California

Description

Jeff Abrams with Robert Half is working with a client with a exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the heart of Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes for a set of funds, coordination and review of quarterly administrator accounting packages, and reporting and maintenance of fund analytics. This position is well-suited for someone with experience in Accounting Software Systems, CapEx, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting processes for a set of the firm’s funds

• Coordinate and review quarterly administrator accounting packages, partner capital, and financial statements

• Handle calls/distributions to partners

• Responsible for the calculation, reporting, and maintenance of fund analytics

• Collaborate with auditors on year-end audit work

• Assist in preparation of tax estimates and tax returns for the funds

• Work with the broader finance team to ensure consistent practices and controls

Requirements • Must have a solid understanding and practical experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is required

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is highly desired

• Proficiency in the use of the 'About Time' software is a plus

• Must have a strong knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Budget Processes is essential

• Ability to manage Expense Reporting effectively is required

• Must have a background in various Finance related tasks

• Familiarity with CapEx is preferred

• Should have the ability to work efficiently in a team as well as independently

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a must

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

• Relevant certifications in finance and accounting would be an advantage

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role is preferred.
