Our client is a prominent venture capital firm based in Menlo Park. Known for participating in one of the industry’s largest capital raises, this firm manages billions across a diverse portfolio of over 1,000 investments and numerous high-profile exits. Responsibilities:
Maintain Fund and GP general ledgers.
Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely audit and tax filings.
Oversee cash management for assigned Funds.
Process capital calls, distributions, and investment records.
Review and approve reporting packages prepared by Fund Admin Accountants.
Serve as a trusted contact for limited partner inquiries.
Requirements
5+ years of fund accounting experience in venture capital, private equity
Experience in public accounting service IM clients, fund administration or in house fund
CPA is a plus
Strong knowledge of investment partnership accounting.
Proficiency in Excel, with experience in AltaReturn or Microsoft NAV a plus.
A drive to grow, excellent time management, and attention to detail.
