Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin


Robert Half has partnered with a company in the Manufacturing field, to fill an opening for a contract to hire Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Become an integral part of a company in the Manufacturing industry as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

Major responsibilities

  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

  • Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

  • Perform special projects as assigned

  • Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

  • Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

  • Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

  • Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

  • Fullfill full-cycle A/P

  • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

    Requirements - Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • General familiarity with Vendor Payment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Enter Vendor Invoices

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong familiarity with Code Invoices

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

  • Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation

  • Microsoft Office 365 experience highly preferred

  • Adeptness in bank reconciliations

  • Purchase Orders experience preferred

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
