Robert Half Business Analyst / Symitar Programmer in Mentor, Ohio

Description We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Business Analyst in the Financial Services industry, located in MENTOR, Ohio, 44060-4123, United States. The primary focus of this role is to manage customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and resolve credit-related inquiries. This role also involves monitoring credit accounts and initiating actions to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain precise records of customer credit information

• Efficiently resolve customer queries related to credit

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions for overdue payments

• Leverage Business Process Functions to streamline processes

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents

• Utilize Symitar for programming and managing banking systems

• Discuss technical issues effectively with both technical and non-technical users

• Use analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues related to credit processing

• Independently manage work and travel requirements, as well as operate general office equipment.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of Business Process Functions

• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Document

• Proficiency in Symitar programming. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Business Analyst role within the Financial Services industry.

• Proficiency in Business Process Functions.

• Demonstrable experience in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents.

• Proficiency in utilizing Symitar software.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quickly.

• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
