Description What you get to do every day:

Produce financial reporting, financial statement close and consolidation process (monthly, quarterly, annually) for a multi-entity international organization, timely and in accordance with general accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Ensure financial reporting accurately reflects company current financial positions Formulate company budgets and ensure expenses are in line with projected revenue. Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credit and collections, payroll, fixed asset records, general and entity accounting. Assist in developing treasury management, interface with outside audit firm(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability agent(s), credit card companies and consultants. Lead in the integration of new business acquisitions from a finance/accounting process and systems standpoint. Assist in merger and acquisition due diligence. Ensure organization is in compliance with local, state and federal tax laws. Provide model internal customer service through accurate and timely accounting and job cost reporting. Proactively manage cash flow. Actively participate with inter-department and inter-company initiatives to drive financial accountability. Complete special projects assigned by President. Daily oversite of the organization’s fiscal functions, including supervision of Finance team including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting Clerk and Finance Analyst. Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures across the corporation’s family of companies. Interview, full-time, assign roles and responsibilities, reward and discipline employees, performance review and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Perform managerial duties to drive and enforce adaptive and necessary changes for a growing international company. Ensure each employee complies with company policies concerning scheduling, roles and responsibilities, office behavior/ etiquette in order to drive a successful work environment. Function as a key business partner to the President. Look for continuous improvement opportunities for efficiencies and group effectiveness; as well as provide individuals with tools necessary to achieve detail oriented and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities. Requirements BS in Accounting, Finance or Business; MBA is desirable but not a must Must have at least 8+ years in a progressively responsible financial leadership role Must have experience in implementing processes related to accounting or financial reporting. Experience in construction accounting desirable but open to other Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and manage well to all levels of organization and with team members at remote locations Must be a creative problem solver Must have an unblemished track record of integrity Strong attention to detail Problem solving skills Ability to manage, coordinate, complete simultaneous activities and successfully prioritize tasks with quality and clarity Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
