The ideal CFO will have excellent analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives. How you will make an impact
Manage the relationship with independent auditors
Own vendor relationships
Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions
Own process improvement for the integrity of a company's financial information
Hire, train and retain accounting and finance staff
Sustain relationships with investors and investment institutions
Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate
Identify and control business risks and insurance requirements
Ensure staff compliance with state and federal laws and company's policies
Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades
Supervise all finance personnel
