Description
We're seeking a detailed-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist for our local clients on a contract basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records accurately and organizing the fiscal data to ensure our operations run efficiently.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Perform daily bookkeeping and filing duties.
Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements and reports.
Manage company's accounting software and databases.
Perform budget preparation and financial analysis as needed.
Generate invoices, receipts, and tax documents timely and accurately.
Coordinate with team members to rectify financial discrepancies and ensure statutory compliance.
Prepare and deliver financial presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as an Accounting Specialist.
Strong working knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial analysis.
Excellent self-management and teamwork skills.
Strong communication, diligence, and attention to detail.
CPA certification is considered an asset.
