Located in Merritt Island, FL, this HR Specialist position will be on a short-term contract / temporary basis. This HR Specialist position is for candidates who can use their excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and positive attitude to help drive success. You will partner with, and coach front-line managers to facilitate organizational and cultural change by acting as a catalyst for building Organizational Effectiveness within the business.
Key responsibilities Partner with a team of HR Professionals (HRBP Team) to align human resources strategy with site/department objectives. You will assist the Sr. HRBP in driving systemic organizational and people strategies that are aligned to the business strategy. Partake in working collaboratively to diagnose manager and employee capability needs and support the development and design of learning and development plans. You will be routinely helping with complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations and collaborating with Employee Relations, Sr. HRBP and/or HR Director to recommend appropriate action to resolve the issues. Analyzing HR data to help identify trends and develop recommendations for solutions from these trends Helping management to identify development opportunities to support the upskilling and engagement of frontline employees. You will be in charge of prioritizing your personal development by remaining current on changes in employment law, legal requirements, and reporting regulations. Supporting change management related to the implementation of organizational effectiveness solutions. Requirements - Highly skilled in office and accounting computer systems
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership across finance team by engaging with different groups around the world via virtual communication
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field
- CPA and/or CMA preferred
Implement and improve changes in procedures immediately
navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired
Proven communication and negotiation skills, ability to establish trusted advisor/consultant relationships, and capability to influence Executives and Business Decision Makers
Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
detail oriented accounting and controllership or public accounting and internal controls experience and/or Internal Audit or Controls and Compliance
Knowledge of ERP system preferred
