Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Mesa, Arizona. In this role, you will be playing a crucial part in our accounting department, specializing in managing our company's expenditures. This position requires onsite presence on certain days of the week and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of all invoices and implement payment procedures
• Maintain accurate records of all Accounts Payable transactions
• Perform regular audits to ensure that invoices match purchase orders
• Reconcile statements and transactions efficiently and accurately
• Resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues
• Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships
• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
• Maintain accurate financial reports to reflect the company's expenditure
• Utilize 'Accounts Payable (AP)' skills to enhance the efficiency of the department
• Be prepared to work onsite as required by the company.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and financial software
• Ability to process and manage invoices accurately and timely
• Strong organizational skills to manage a large volume of invoices
• Good communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams
• Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to identify discrepancies in financial data
• Understanding of reconciliation of accounts payable transactions
• Willingness to work onsite as required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Strong problem-solving skills for resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
