Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team, handling various administrative tasks such as patient check-in, managing phone operations, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Medical Receptionist will also be responsible for scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is ready before a patient's appointment.
Responsibilities:
Check-in patients
Ensure all necessary paperwork is in charts before a patient can be seen
Answer and direct all calls and inquiries for both locations
Schedule new patients
Collect copays
Enter new patients into the system
Reschedule appointments for prescribers
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Medical Office Experience
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management software
Spanish speaker is a plus but not required
