Robert Half is partnering with a wonderful client in the Greater New Orleans Area that is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience to join an established company offering a wonderful culture, work/life balance, and benefits package.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate in the month-end financial statements and prepare the annual audit work-papers

· Collaborate in the corporate tax provisions

· Participate in external audit communication

· Create, audit or review new reports as required.

· Prepare schedules for annual and quarterly regulatory statements

· Collaborate in special projects and analysis

· Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close

· Collaborates to support overall department goals and objectives

· Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflows of the department

· Other duties as assigned/ required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· 3+ years of accounting experience either in public accounting or industry

· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
