Robert Half Community Housing Manager in Miami Beach, Florida

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Property Accountant in the non-profit industry. The role is based in Miami Beach, Florida, and will require the successful candidate to manage various accounting functions related to housing programs. The role is a key part of our team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks from tenant selection to financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Select eligible residents appropriate for housing programs, ensuring compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations.

• Implement and adhere to the tenant selection plan and household program requirements.

• Handle daily administrative tasks associated with property management.

• Oversee financial operations, including reporting, procurement, and purchasing.

• Supervise personnel and manage maintenance operations to ensure the overall physical condition of the property.

• Foster positive resident relations and oversee social activities.

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data.

• Understand and manage accounting functions and budget processes related to commercial property management.

• Oversee tenant leases and manage relationships with current tenants and prospective tenants.

• Control expenses within the allocated budget. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with various Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Understanding of Commercial Property Management

• Knowledge of Tenant Leases and dealing with Tenants

• Experience in handling Prospective Tenants

• Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC regulations

• Ability to manage Expense Budget and implement Expense Control measures

• Prior experience in Non-Profit organizations is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
