Robert Half Account Receivables Manager in Miami, Florida
Description
The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting. This role will be responsible for managing the AR team, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payments.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AR team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Billing and Invoicing: Oversee the billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all clients, including adjustments and corrections as necessary.
Collections Management: Develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and minimize aged debt.
Cash Application: Ensure accurate application of cash receipts and manage discrepancies promptly.
Reporting: Prepare regular AR reports for management, highlighting key metrics such as aging, collection rates, and cash flow projections.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction within the AR function.
Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients to address inquiries, resolve disputes, and facilitate timely payments.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Sales and Finance, to support business objectives and improve the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software, if applicable] is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
