Description
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Accountant. This role involves assisting the finance department in managing, processing, and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
Overview of duties:
Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Assisting with analyzing financial data and preparing budgets.
Assisting the accounting manager and other staff by performing general accounting tasks.
Compiling and analyzing financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Assist with audit preparations
Requirements
A degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, basic accounting principles and equations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software, databases, and financial analysis software.
Strong math and analytical skills.
