Robert Half Accounting Analyst in Miami, Florida
Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Miami, Florida. This role is in the finance industry and will be situated in a professional office environment. The Accounting Analyst will be tasked with managing and reconciling bank accounts, communicating with billing and cash analysts, maintaining account and asset ledgers, and providing support for managerial analysis.
• Manage and reconcile various bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
• Monitor bank accounts for any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Maintain constant communication with Billing Grant specialists and Cash Analyst for accurate and prompt recording of all receipts.
• Maintain and update the MIP Chart
• Oversee the Fixed Assets (FA) and CAPEX ledger, along with the monthly depreciation expense.
• Conduct semi-annual inventory counts to verify Fixed Assets.
• Assist the Accounting manager in conducting cash flow analysis and other account-related analysis.
• Provide auditors with necessary supporting schedules.
• Process ACH payments and ensure their accuracy.
• Maintain continuous follow-ups to ensure a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Ceridian software
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience with ERP Solutions
• Competency in About Time software
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting rules and regulations
