Robert Half Accounting Assistant in Miami, Florida
Description
Robert Half is seeking a qualified accounting assistant. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, has a great intention to detail, and able to look for ways to improve and streamline processes.
The accounting assistant will be responsible for providing accounting support across all departments of our company. The role will require the ability to work in both a team environment and independently at a high level.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills
Great Communication skills both verbal and written
Attention to detail is a must
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to cross train across all departments
Trustworthy and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable and Payable Functions (processing check, ACH, and credit card payments)
Collections Tracking and Monitoring
Bank Reconciliations
Assist with Monthly and Yearly Financial System Closings
Payroll Processing
Various other Administrative Responsibilities
Assistance in Projects across all Departments
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting
