Description
We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to provide support to our company’s accounting department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring the company's financial transactions are accurate and documented sufficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic bookkeeping duties including generating invoices, posting receipts, and recording payments.
Update and maintain financial data and records.
Reconcile bank statements and transactions, monitor account balances, and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Assist the accounting team with the preparation of regular financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and expense reports.
Aid accounting staff in preparing budget forecasting and audits.
Resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in financial entries, documents, and reports.
Maintain confidentiality and secure all financial information.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, as necessary.

Requirements
Qualifications:
An associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience working in an accounting role, such as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant, will be advantageous.
Proficiency in the use of financial management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
