Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Miami, Florida
Description Robert Half seeks an enterprising, strong Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at a growing, dynamic company. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. This position gives you a great opportunity to work for a company that recognizes hard work and rewards results as the Accounting Manager. Located in the Miami, Florida area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a permanent basis.
Major responsibilities
Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements - Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Operational Audits
CPA/MBA preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
