Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
Process high-volume accounts payable invoices
Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and vendor accounts
Ensure timely payment of invoices and expense reports
Manage vendor communications and resolve any payment-related issues
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Assist with month-end closing and accruals
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
