Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Miami, Florida

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Miami, Florida. This role is within the non-profit industry where the individual will be responsible for data entry, managing internal and external correspondence, and providing support for various functions and events. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient data entry

• Management of internal and external correspondence

• Generation of reports and queries as needed

• Coordination of registration and food for receptions, luncheons, meetings, and events

• Scheduling of appointments and meetings

• Conducting research as needed for the team

• Administrative support for workplace campaigns, including composing correspondence, setting up appointments and scheduling meetings, generating reports and providing data analysis

• Management of annual auctions

• Telephone support including answering calls, recording and delivering accurate messages, referring complaints and requests for information to appropriate staff and following up as needed

• Assistance to other team administrators as needed. Requirements • Must have prior experience in administrative roles within a non-profit organization.

• Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and numeric data entry.

• Familiarity with data encryption techniques and processes.

• Must have strong computer skills, particularly in data entry software.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with the non-profit industry and its specific needs and challenges.

• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Must have a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make decisions.

• Experience with standard office equipment like printers, photocopiers, and fax machines.

• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software platforms related to administrative duties.
