Robert Half AR Analyst in Miami, Florida
Description
The AR Analyst's main role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounts receivable. This includes detailed checking of financial statements, management of client and customer accounts, and administrative tasks relating to the upkeep of the company’s financial records.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing invoices and billing materials for accuracy and completeness, initiating corrections when necessary.
Carrying out detailed reconciliation of the accounts receivable ledger on a regular basis.
Addressing and resolving account discrepancies through investigative work and liaison with customers and other departments.
Processing and recording transactions, ensuring compliance with financial procedures and policies.
Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
Coordinating with the collections team to review delinquent accounts and carry out necessary action.
Preparing reports detailing accounts receivable status for presentation to company leaders.
Delivering exceptional customer service, addressing and responding to customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Staying updated on industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as an AR Analyst or similar role within the Finance department.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create and assess financial reports.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Credible knowledge of data analysis, profit and loss, and indirect cash flows.
The AR Analyst will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will need to maintain a positive and professional relationship with our clients and team members.
