Robert Half Billing Clerk in Miami, Florida
Description
Robert Half is working with a distributor in the Miami Area who is seeking a Billing clerk on a contract to permanent basis. As a billing clerk, you must have strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and to safeguard our income.
Overview:
Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
Check the validity of debit accounts.
Update accounts receivable databases or records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc.
Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills.
Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary.
Report the results of financial transactions (e.g., accounts receivable, invoicing, etc.) to the upper management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
Requirements
Proven experience as a billing clerk or general accounting experience.
Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); working knowledge of relevant accounting software is preferred.
Excellent math ability and strong organizational skills.
Good communication skills.
