Robert Half Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant in Miami, Florida
Description
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team in Miami, Florida. The role involves working in the Non-profit industry, with a focus on maintaining and processing Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable and reconciling accounts. You will be responsible for handling all accounting data and supporting with the month end cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process Accounts payable payments
• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts regularly
• Take appropriate steps to collect delinquent payments if needed
• Record numerical and financial data to create financial records
• Ensure financial data is input correctly and accurately for month end
• Enter journal entries to debit and credit company accounts
• Generate accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses
• Reconcile and report discrepancies or issues found in financial records.

Requirements
• Possession of an Associate's degree a MUST
• Demonstrated proficiency in bookkeeping
• QUICKBOOKS a must
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
