Robert Half Financial Analyst: II (Intermediate)- in Miami, Florida

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst: II (Intermediate) based in Miami, Florida. The role is within the finance industry and requires a thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling accounts, preparing variance reports, and using financial forecasts and budgets to support operating plans.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy

• Prepare and annotate variance reports to assist with financial decision-making

• Work with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets

• Conduct research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches

• Utilize Microsoft Excel/Word software for financial management and reporting purposes

• Collaborate with the Financial Planning Analyst team to track, monitor, and report Financial Results Information

• Enhance, control, and maintain the tracking financial reporting system

• Present financial analysis to management

• Utilize bilingual skills in English and Spanish for effective communication

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Proven experience in finance, financial management, and banking industry

• Knowledge and experience in financial analysis, financial planning, and financial forecasting

• Proficiency in performing ad hoc financial tasks

• Experience in the budget process, operating plans, and variance analysis

• Strong research abilities and data management skills

• Exceptional written communication skills

• Ability to reconcile bank accounts

• Proficiency in financial reporting and using monitoring tools

• Understanding of financial principles

• Ability to work onsite

• Experience in preparing reports for C-Suite and Audit Committee

• Experience in financial audits.
