Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst in Miami, Florida. The Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key player in our data analysis team, providing support and developing skills in Power BI reporting, Excel data analysis, and SQL queries. This role is a stepping stone for recent graduates or entry-level professionals in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to various business units.

• Perform data analysis and manipulation using Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and macros.

• Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.

• Collaborate with senior analysts to design and implement data visualization solutions that meet business requirements.

• Assist in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions.

• Conduct data validation and ensure consistency across different data sources.

• Support the maintenance and optimization of existing SQL queries to boost performance and accuracy.

• Assist in implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.

• Work closely with senior team members to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Provide support and training to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and Excel tools.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and tools. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated ability to use SQL for data manipulation

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI

• Ability to create intuitive dashboards for data visualization

• Experience in creating detailed reports from raw data

• Understanding of business intelligence principles and practices

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
