Description
We are seeking an organized and driven Jr. Staff Accountant to join our growing team at our company. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, committed to consistently meeting deadlines and keen to learn and growing in the field of accounting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Update financial data in databases to ensure the information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Participate in internal audits.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel, and accounting software.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
