Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk in Miami, Florida. The role primarily involves administrative support to the logistics team, assisting with shipping, handling, and transportation of merchandise. The position is integral to the coordination of daily operations within a warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the handling and transportation of merchandise
• Assist in managing incoming shipments and maintaining inventory records
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from customer service or sales representatives
• Provide administrative support to the logistics team
• Ensure the smooth running of daily operations within the warehouse facility
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and other computer programs for efficient operations
• Facilitate communication in Spanish, enhancing customer service for Spanish-speaking clients
• Maintain strong organizational and time management practices
• Employ problem-solving skills to address complex logistics issues
• Handle billing functions and answer inbound calls where necessary. Requirements
• Proficiency in computer programs is required
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is expected
• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is beneficial
• Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is desired
• Experience with About Time software is required
• Ability to handle answering inbound calls is essential
• Experience with billing functions is a must
• Excellent communication skills are needed
• Strong customer service skills are required
• Fluency in the Spanish language
• Ability to perform Spanish translation is desired
