Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Coordinate quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors

  • Other projects as required

  • Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Arrange monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Be a part of various department-wide initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Efficient in ERP systems

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

  • Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports

  • Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

  • Deep understanding of financial reporting

  • Account reconciliation experience desired

  • Command of financial reconciliation

  • Vow to meet business deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

  • Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
