Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Miami, Florida
Robert Half is currently seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and experience with large ERP systems. This contract position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas in compliance with SOX.
Assist with budget preparation and prepare the monthly budget variance analyses.
Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.
Assist with initial internal control evaluations.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 7 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
Experience with large ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
CPA certification would be an asset.
