Description
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The successful candidate will also be in charge of ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, which is vital for the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the reliability of accounting data by recording, verifying, and processing transactions.
• Prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses by gathering and analyzing account details.
• Maintain and balance subledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving any discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial statements.
• Assist with payroll cost posting and handle yearly audit requests.
• Comply with legal standards to avoid any legal issues and complications.
• Safeguard financial data by conducting database backups.
• Maintain the organization's values by keeping information confidential.
• Contribute to the improvement or modification of accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Prepare reports as requested by the Accounting Manager.

Requirements • Candidate must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is a must.
• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management.
• Should be adept at making Journal Entries and conducting Month End Close activities.
• Proficiency in using SAP and Deltek accounting software is desirable.
• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Reporting, and the preparation of Monthly Financial Reports is necessary.
• The candidate should be capable of preparing Financial Reports.
• Understanding of Profit and Loss account management is essential.
• Expertise in managing Balance Sheet Account, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required.
• Experience with Balance Sheet Reviews and the ability to prepare Balance Sheets is also necessary.
• The candidate should be capable of performing Monthly Balance Sheet and Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
