Description We are offering an exciting role in the tax industry situated in Miami Lakes, Florida. The role involves working as a Tax Staff - Public for a reputed CPA firm. The role will encompass a variety of duties including tax preparation and offers a path for growth into a supervisory position.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing tax returns efficiently with accuracy
• Use software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for tax preparation
• Utilize tools like Gosystem and Microsoft Excel for managing accounting functions
• Contribute to auditing processes
• Handle cash activity and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving customer queries
• Leverage your experience as an enrolled agent to enhance job performance
• Commit to continual personal and professional development to drive career progression within the firm
• Potential to grow into a supervisory role, managing and directing team activities Requirements • Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
• Experience with Gosystem and Management System
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Auditing
• Understanding of Cash Activity processes
• Ability to ensure Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience in a Tax Staff role within a Public sector context
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
