Robert Half Accountant in Miami Springs, Florida
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Miami Springs, Florida. The successful candidate will be part of an industry-leading team, playing a key role in managing and maintaining accounting functions. This role involves the use of SAP and Excel, and requires skills in account reconciliation, cash applications, and collections.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of customer credit, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of applications
• Keep up-to-date with accounts receivable and payable, ensuring all financial records are accurate
• Utilize SAP and advanced Excel skills to update and maintain all accounting records
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure all financial data is consistent and accurate
• Manage the collections process, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers
• Utilize bilingual skills in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with diverse customer base
• Conduct cash activity monitoring and take appropriate actions based on account status
• Participate in month-end close processes, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within deadlines
• Utilize Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions in Excel to analyze financial data
• Perform cash reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate financial reporting. Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Billing Functions and Cash Activity
• Skills in Cash Applications, Collections, and Cash Collections
• Familiarity with SAP software
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel for Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions
• Proficiency in Spanish Language is a plus
• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential.
