Description
A local Miamisburg company is in immediate need of a Credit Analyst. We are presently searching for a Credit Analyst to become part of a great company's team. The Credit Analyst will play a key role in recommending new credit and extensions of credit through research and analysis of financial documents. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers
• Recommend new credit and extensions of credit through diligent research and analysis of financial documents
• Monitor customer accounts regularly to manage credit limits and risk categories
• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit applications and account status
• Collaborate with other team members to manage and collect debts effectively
• Utilize financial skills to create forecasts and assess potential risks
• Employ alternative dispute resolution methods to handle customer disputes when necessary
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to credit processes
• Create detailed reports on credit assessments, findings, and creditworthiness
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to company’s compliance policies.
Requirements
• Must possess strong skills in Financial Analysis, Credit - Collections and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in financial services.
• Strong understanding of lending procedures and laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze cash flows, leverage, collateral and customer strength.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must have attention to detail and be able to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information.
• Good organizational skills for handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Must possess a strong ethical framework and professional integrity.
• Experience using financial software systems is an advantage.
