Robert Half HRIS Analyst in Miamisburg, Ohio


We are looking for an HRIS Analyst to join a leading manufacturing company in Miamisburg, OH. The role will help with HRIS process improvement initiatives, data integrity, automation, and optimization. This position will partner with HR to recommend and implement business processes and existing system configuration improvements. This position is a long-term contract with opportunity for long term employment.

  • The HRIS Analyst collects data and analyzes it to improve HR strategies and processes and suggests ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department.

  • Leads the continuous evaluation and evolution of HR Systems that include payroll systems, etc.

  • Participate in a project to implement a global master data system.

  • Actively identifies and resolves issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations.

  • Develops, documents, and maintains all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.

  • Partners with cross-functional team members and IT team members on HRIS-related issues/enhancements/queries.

  • Assist HR in optimizing manual processes related to custom or ad hoc needs or processes not otherwise supported systematically.

  • Maintains and administers ad hoc report writing tools for end users; training and assisting users of those ad hoc report writing tools.

  • Communicates with project teams, clients, and vendors.


  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar.

  • Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.

  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.

  • Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.

  • Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries.

  • Proficiency in HRM software.

  • Priory experience with back-end HR Master Data, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management systems is required.

  • Benefit Plan and/or Benefit Plan Administration acumen and related process management experience is highly desirable.
