Description
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Miamisburg, Ohio. The role includes managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and the general ledger. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Maintain and manage the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries in accordance with accounting principles
• Oversee month-end closing processes
• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and organized
• Resolve any financial discrepancies and report the findings to management.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Skilled in maintaining General Ledger
• Expertise in creating Journal Entries
• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
