Description
We are inviting applications for the role of a Customer Service Representative in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in Middle River, Maryland. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is centered around providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic call center environment.
Responsibilities:
• Professionally handling a high volume of inbound calls
• Assisting customers with their queries and providing accurate product information
• Utilizing multiple computer systems and applications for efficient information gathering
• Maintaining a customer-focused approach and demonstrating empathy while addressing customer concerns
• Accurately documenting customer interactions and updating customer accounts in the system
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues
• Meeting performance metrics and quality standards set by the company
• Staying updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies.
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in the role of a Customer Service Representative or similar customer-facing role.
• Previous experience in a call center environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing call center software and other related tools for customer service.
• Strong understanding of the energy/natural resources industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
• Proficiency in using computers and related software for data entry and communication.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain composure.
• Willingness to continually improve knowledge and stay updated about industry trends.
• High level of patience and active listening skills.
