Job Title: Lead Database Administrator
Salary Range: $110,000 to $140,000/year
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid work schedule)

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Lead Database Administrator for our client in Madison, WI. This role will be responsible for hands-on database administration as well as leading a small team of employees and/or contractors.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensuring optimal, reliable connectivity and troubleshooting databases related problems.
• Overseeing and performing projects involving database administration.
• Leading strategic planning concerning database architecture, data management and expense reduction.
• Identifying and implementing improvements and automation opportunities.
• Guaranteeing the security of all database platforms, and supporting audit requirements.
• Continually learning new technologies and suggesting enhancements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of database administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle version 19x software and utilities required.
• Proven experience configuring & optimizing database solutions.
• Experience leading a team & fostering collaboration.
• Superior communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL.
• Experience with cloud database administration is desirable.
• PowerShell scripting capabilities will be highly regarded.
