Robert Half IT Manager in MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut
Description Robert Half is currently seeking a full-time IT Support Manager to manage the IT department and lead the organization’s IT support function and team. This position is located in the Middletown, CT area.
Essential Functions • Manage IT team and responsible for all help desk support, VOIP phone system, printers, scanners, laptops, iPads • Manage user licenses for all IT products • Continuously monitor IT network security and data security to ensure HIPPA compliance • Responsible for ensuring an excellent IT experience for all employees and customers • Establish help desk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Implement strong inventory controls and processes for shipping/receiving equipment • Ensure monthly malware detection/removal is completed and Office 365 backups occur • Manage outsourced IT support resources, including web developers and other project-specific consultants • Identifying, vetting, and selecting IT products and vendors, managing deployment, and supporting ongoing use • Develop and implement two-year roadmap for internal IT systems and capabilities • Memorialize current IT structure, processes, and knowledge through SOPs, training manuals • Institute data-driven performance measurement and management systems • Identify and activate opportunities for improved effectiveness and efficiency
Education and Experiences • Experience managing Office 365 environments • Proficiency with Microsoft suite • At least 2 years’ of experience in an IT support role • At least 8-10 years’ work experience in other IT roles • Bachelor’s degree Requirements Desktop Support, VoIP System, Technology Infrastructure
