Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Analyst to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The FP& A Analyst will play a crucial role in driving financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to provide valuable insights that support operational efficiency, cost management, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
Create and maintain financial models to forecast future performance, incorporating various scenarios and assumptions to guide decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational realities.
Monitor budget adherence, track variances, and offer actionable recommendations to address discrepancies.
Strategic Decision Support:
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and capital expenditure decisions, evaluating potential risks and returns.
Assess the financial impact of various business strategies and aid in developing actionable plans to enhance profitability.
Cost Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct detailed cost analyses across different manufacturing processes and business units, identifying areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
Work closely with operational teams to implement cost-saving measures and monitor their effectiveness.
Performance Metrics Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement relevant performance metrics and dashboards that align with business objectives.
Regularly update and refine these metrics to ensure they reflect changing business needs.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA, etc.) is a plus.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning software is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
