Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the oilfield services industry, located in Midland, Texas. This role primarily involves sorting, coding, entering, scanning, and reviewing accounts receivable invoices into accounting software. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with the collection of accounts receivable, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, code, match, enter, scan, and review accounts receivable invoices into accounting software.

• Conduct thorough research within the accounting software.

• Submit invoices to customers on a daily basis.

• Assist in the collections of accounts receivable.

• Research and correct any disputed invoices.

• Prepare a weekly accounts receivable summary report for the Accountant.

• Undertake special projects or other duties as assigned.

• Clarify any questionable invoice items and resolve any accounts receivable problems.

• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, and Controller.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Open Invoice. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience in an accounting role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience in billing and invoice processing is essential.

• Must be skilled in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Familiarity with Open Invoice software would be advantageous.

• A strong understanding of general accounting principles is required.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.

• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.

• A degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
