Robert Half Fleet Coordinator & Admin in Midland, Texas

Description

We are seeking a Fleet Coordinator & Admin in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's fleet of vehicles, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer credit records. This is a contract employment opportunity that also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they remain in top condition

• Act as a central point of contact between business unit proponents, vendor representatives, and other key stakeholders

• Drive corporate compliance to the preferred vendor program through end-user change management and communications programs

• Assist in managing contracts across various categories like fluid hauling logistics, valve servicing, and pipeline inspection

• Prepare, submit, and negotiate contract terms, conditions, master service agreements, and purchase orders with the support of the legal team

• Monitor assigned contracts to ensure suppliers comply with the terms and conditions

• Work in multiple ERP Systems modules including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Registration, and Contract Development

• Manage the full life cycle by advising proponents on the best fit vendor, executing the purchase order documents, and evaluating vendor performance.

Requirements • Proven experience in customer service and complaint handling

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with training procedures and policy implementation

• Experience in operations and procurement in a logistics environment

• Understanding of accounts payable (AP) and finance

• Knowledge of contracts, insurance, and compliance matters

• Ability to conduct presentations for various stakeholders

• Proficiency in workstation support

• Experience in pricing and purchase orders

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Engineering background is a plus

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
