Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in Midland, Texas. As an HR Recruiter, you will be at the core of the hospital system's recruitment process, focusing on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for a variety of positions, ranging from clerical to managerial roles. This key role requires a profound understanding of the hospital’s structure and a deep knowledge of employment laws and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct full-cycle recruitment for various positions across the hospital system
• Leverage online recruiting resources to source potential candidates
• Employ interviewing techniques and testing to assess applicant suitability
• Maintain active job requisitions and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Handle the onboarding process, including requesting background checks and pre-employment assessments
• Communicate professionally and thoroughly with candidates throughout the onboarding and orientation processes
• Attend Job Fairs and Community Education Facilities to attract potential candidates
• Strategically place ads to proactively source potential candidates
• Provide tactful feedback to applicants not chosen for positions
• Use problem-solving skills to recommend process improvements in recruitment activities
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and various recruitment systems and tools. Requirements • A minimum of one year of experience in an HR Recruiter role or related position
• Proficient in using Careerbuilder and other recruiting platforms
• Experience in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
• Familiarity with Applicant Track Systems
• Able to conduct Background Checks in accordance with legal and company regulations
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions within a corporate setting
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in Corporate Recruiting and Full Cycle Recruiting
• Proficient in executing Recruiting Activities, Recruiting Functions, and Recruiting Processes
• Experience with Recruitment in a High Volume environment
• Strong skills in Recruitment Sourcing and Technical Recruitment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal and professional integrity
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance conflicting interests
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
