Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the heart of Midland, Texas, for a Staff Accountant to join our team within the Oil & Gas industry. This role will be critical in executing full cycle accounting practices, managing general ledger, journal entries and oil & gas production reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle accounting tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Create and manage journal entries and general ledger functions

• Conduct oil & gas production reporting

• Use the Integra software for various accounting tasks

• Support the Controller in various accounting and financial functions

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks

• Execute bank reconciliations

• Oversee month-end close processes

• Participate in the growth and development of the company's financial practices and processes

• Foster a fun, energetic, and family-oriented work culture. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is essential.

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is required.

• Knowledge in Oil & Gas Production Reporting is a plus.

• Strong communication and organizational skills are needed.

• Should possess problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• Candidates must have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

• CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
