Description We are in search of a Unit Pricing Biller to join our team in the utilities industry based in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with billing responsibilities, particularly using unit pricing, a specific and unique billing method in the utilities sector. You will also be responsible for various accounting functions and customer service tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and managing customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintaining and updating customer credit records to ensure accuracy

• Resolving customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

• Utilizing accounting software systems to manage and organize data

• Performing computerized billing tasks accurately and efficiently

• Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial transactions are processed correctly

• Answering inbound calls from customers and addressing their concerns or queries

• Working within the utilities sector and understanding the specifics of electric utility billing

• Using excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Computerized Billing

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally

• Familiar with Utilities and Electric Utility industry

• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
