Description

Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Support Services Representative to join John Deere's team and play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and support for our dealers. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, resolving, and responding to overage and shortage claims from our dealers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. (Some holidays

required).

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate, resolve, and respond to overage and shortage claims using various methods, including evaluating parcel and grid trips.

Assign error case codes based on the outcome of investigations and consider approval for shipping errors that require processing exceptions.

Interact with John Deere dealers daily via outbound calls and email, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Communicate with carriers and outside suppliers to obtain tracking information and resolve issues.

Run morning tasks, including the notes job, entering notes into each case, and preparing cases for processing.

Authorize return IDs associated with overage/shortage cases, credit return IDs, and update case logs at the end of the day.

Provide cross-functional support to warehouse operations teams and contribute to team metrics in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).

Customer service experience with strong negotiation, communication, and listening skills.

Ability to work with multiple contacts to gather information and achieve results in a timely manner.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with experience working in a team environment.

Skill in handling difficult customer interactions and demonstrating strong organizational and planning skills.

Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Willingness to work overtime as workload requires and self-motivated with a drive to achieve.

Experience in solving complex problems and critical thinking.

Knowledge of parts distribution and/or carrier OS& D.

Familiarity with Distribution Network System (DNS) and John Deere's internal Parts On The Internet (JDPoint).
