Robert Half HR Generalist in Mill Creek, Washington

Description We are seeking a meticulous HR Generalist to join our team based in Mill Creek, Washington. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of HR responsibilities ranging from benefits administration to recruitment tasks, while focusing on process development for efficiency enhancement. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and track employee benefits in collaboration with the HR Director.

• Assist in recruitment activities including the preparation of offer letters and coordination of new hire activities.

• Coordinate onboarding tasks after a candidate accepts an offer.

• Organize and execute New Employee Orientation/Onboarding Program.

• Set up new hires in our HR/Payroll system.

• Ensure that HR has up-to-date job descriptions on file for all positions.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR processes to ensure departmental efficiency.

• Handle EEO-1 Reporting and maintain HR databases.

• Conduct employment verifications.

• Assist in offboarding employees.

• Engage in other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems

• Knowledgeable in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce HR management software

• Familiarity with administering Benefit Functions

• Exceptional Communication skills in both written and verbal forms

• Proven track record in Compliance and regulatory procedures

• Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations

• Understanding of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

• Relevant HR certifications would be an advantage

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in conflict resolution

• Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Must have a proactive and positive attitude towards tasks

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and reports.
