Description OfficeTeam is seeking a HR Assistant in the bay area! The human resource Assistant will provide support within various human resource processes, programs and activities within the organization that support the achievement of the departmental goals. It is extremely important to protect the organization’s value by upholding the highest level of confidentiality with regard to all protected information and company documents.

The HR team needs an assistant to help with the overflow of administrative tasks as follows:

Duties: -filing Scanning and filing employee documents Enter or remove employees from HRIS system Help print and put together employee handbooks Help print new full-time onboarding paperwork Help with writing memos to employees Answer the phones for the HR team

This is a very entry level and clerical in nature role. They need to add headcount to the department and would like to consider this person as a temporary to full-time option as they groom them. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow in HR.

Must haves: Bilingual in spanish Some HR knowledge whether its through education or experience

Requirements Requirements Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint). General knowledge of various employment laws and practices within scope of duties. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Ability to work with all departmental levels and foster teamwork. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with database management and record keeping. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in composing materials. Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assignments. Strong math skills. Ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English and have good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
