Description
Position Summary
As a Lead Applications Developer, you are the technical lead for your scrum team in the design and execution of business functions, applications, information and infrastructure architectures, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining components of information applications. This is a hands-on development role that also includes leveraging your skills and experience as senior member of the team to train, coach, mentor, and provide work direction to other developers at varying levels of experience regarding methods, procedures, tools, work aids, and quality performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, code, test, and implement solutions of moderate to high complexity.
Provide technical expertise to validate Epics and User Stories through the backlog refinement process with your scrum team.
Collaborate with peers on solution architecture and technical design decisions to solve new or existing business problems.
Build and maintain systems with current or emerging technologies while leveraging and expanding system capabilities.
Hold self and others accountable for clean testable code in adherence with coding standards and best practices.
Conduct peer code reviews by providing comments and suggestions.
Utilize software code version control and defect management tools.
Perform unit testing before releasing code to QA.
Participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews.
Create documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, and charts to demonstrate sound solutions.
When business critical situations arise, some evening and/or weekend work required to support production deployments, critical incidents, or critical projects.
Provide mentorship and guidance in technical matters for all members of the development team include QA, BA, and Developer
Experience and Skills
Desired Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in directly related field required
10+ years of complex software development experience
Proven ability programming in C# and .NET core
Creating and maintaining ASP.NET Web APIs, with some knowledge of WCF Services
Database design and programming with TSQL in MS SQL Server
Front-end technologies including: ASP.Net MVC, Angular 6+
Writing unit tests and utilizing other automated test strategies and frameworks such as SpecFlow
Knowledge of Design Patterns, programming best practices, and SDLC
Experience with scalability and security implementation
Understanding of structure analysis, technical design, and database and file access methods
Designing and implement clean architecture in software solutions
Knowledge and experience working within Agile
Experience with AWS native application development
Technical leadership across functional software development teams
Plus Experience:
Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g. GitLab)
Experience with container (e.g. docker, kubernetes)

Postgres database
Confluence, Jira
Experience with SSIS
Requirements
Tech must-have:
