Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the finance industry for a CFO located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The CFO will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and modifying financial initiatives and procedures in accordance with legal parameters and strategic direction. This role also involves maintaining fiscal accountability, overseeing several functions, and cultivating relationships with community partners.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, evaluate and modify financial initiatives and procedures in accordance with strategic direction and legal parameters
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, billing, facilities/maintenance and other functions within designated department
• Establish and implement internal controls to prevent misuse of agency resources
• Coordinate all internal and external financial audit functions
• Maintain fiscal accountability for current contracts and ensure insurance coverage is up to date
• Evaluate and report agency financial trends, making recommendations as needed
• Prepare budgets for new proposals, ensuring financial viability
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners and contract entities
• Hire, supervise, evaluate and discipline assigned staff
• Participate in agency-wide committees and serve as a member of agency management team
Skills required includes proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Business systems, CRM, Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Cash Flow Analysis. Requirements • Holds a deep understanding of 3M methodologies and practices
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and benefits administration
• Familiarity with Business systems for operational management and efficiency
• Proficient in using CRM software for managing customer relationships and interactions
• Demonstrated ability to manage Accounting Functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Proven experience in Auditing, with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures
• Familiarity with Budget Processes, including planning, development, and implementation
• Experience in Capital Management, ensuring the organization's financial stability
• Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis, with the ability to forecast and manage financial resources effectively.
